On Stage
World Of Wearable Arts
Stage Production, Wellington, NZ. 07|2016-09|2016
I worked on this show as Props Assistant to create multiple big scale stage elements to provide an adequate background to present the creations by designers from all over the world.
Pains Of Youth
Toi Whakaari, Wellington, NZ. 2015
“Pains of Youth” was our realised production during my final year at Toi Whakaari.
I was responsible for realising the design for one of the costumes for Lucy, a maid who gets sucked into the games and schemes of the rich and bored.

Into The Woods
Toi Whakaari, Wellington, NZ. 2014
In my first production at Toi Whakaari I got to create the costume of one of Cinderella’s stepsisters, played by a male actor. Through building up the chest with a padded bra and shrinking the waistline by exaggerating the skirts we transformed them visually into women.
I especially enjoyed making Rapunzels hairpiece. 3.8m long, it featured a detachable endpiece that was “cut off” on stage and a quick release mechanism to show the whole braid being chopped off, to reveal the actresses own short hair.

Equivocation
Circa Theatre , Wellington, NZ. 2014
The first costume for a stage production during my studies was this historically inspired mens outfit designed by our tutor Donna Jefferis for the play “Equivocation”.
