Wētā Workhop, Wellington, NZ. 08|2017-09|2019

On this project I worked as a Costume Technician. The nature of the production and the incredible world of Pandora allowed me to use all my skills, from beading, leather work to intricate braiding and lacemaking. I got to expand my knowledge immensely and picked up a lot of new techniques to add to my repertoire.

More images to come, pending release of the Movie.

Mortal Engines

Feature Film , Wellington, NZ. 11|2016-07|2017

As Costume Props Assistant I got to work on a variety of weird and wonderful pieces for this fantasy production. A lot of leatherwork (holsters, rigging, shoe and boot alterations, trapunto in leather), helmets and headpieces,  as well as creative use of materials (lace collars and jackets cast out of silicone, suspenders cast in liquid latex).

My first film job in the role of Costume Props Trainee. I learned a lot about fabrication with synthetic materials, rigging, and molding and casting.
